We are on home strech for finishing the basement. The carpet was laid yesterday. We really like how it turned out. Last night we put together cabinets for the laundry room. We still have to hang them though. We decided to leave the basement unfurnished for now. That means.....gymnatstics! We thought we would save money by leaving it unfurnished for a while. It turns out we might be spending more in medical bills. In Patrick's words, "You're no spring chicken anymore!" Yes I am...watch this! My knee is a little soar today.
I'm still trying to convince myself of the bathroom color that I have chosen.
I say it all the time, but I can't say it enough. We have such wonderful friends and family. I got together with Little Miss Helvik after church on Sunday. We had a wonderful chat and Starbucks. She helped me pick out lamps for the bedroom. I can read in bed again! Thanks Jenna...I love your taste! We also had help from Travis, Chad, Miles, and Gina last night. It was quite the production. I'm glad we have friends that are good at "handy work", because we really are not. That's how the laundry cabinet came together....good friends and a few beers.
Cancun update! Mom, Dad, Ken, and Georgene are having a blast. Mom promised to pass on this message, "Dear Sun, we just want to say hi and we miss you!"
