Fall has arrived and hunting has started. We spent the past weekend up in Upham. I got to take in the church bizarre. Marlene, Vi, and I also looked through lots of magazines and cookbooks. This week we had all new recipes....except for last night. I resorted to Applebees Carside to go. Bryan and Kitty even got in on the new Hearty Corn Chowder recipe that I copied from the Brandt cookbook. We heard all the stories from Vegas over dinner. It's always great to have them stay with us!
Tonight we are going to cruise back to Hazen for an Elk backstrap dinner. I can't wait! Sounds like the whole gang is going to be there. Another one of my favorite elbow-to-elbow meals around the big table. Saturday morning we are going to take off for a Sioux game. It will be a fun weekend!

We put him outside. We have a little Halloween, a little Thanksgiving, and a Patrick is working on a little Christmas outside out front door.
