My mom and I spent all day Saturday cleaning out the computer/catch-all room. It's amazing at how much junk we accumulated in there over the past year! It's now ready to be PJ's room. The comptuer still needs to be moved downstairs, but other than that it's completely cleaned out!
We were feeling so good, that Sunday we went to church with grandma then tackled the garage.
It's Tuesday, and I think my mom is still sore. She did all the heavy lifting. We fill our Equinox and theirs with stuff to donate or take back to Hazen. When I say filled....I mean STUFFED. The seats were laid down and there was no room for a passanger anywhere. Not 1 but 2 Equinoxes! Patrick is in Upham hunting, I hope there was nothing he wanted in those 2 Equinoxes. It's the first time since we've moved in that we can fit all 3 cars in the garage. That's going to be so nice for winter! We didn't really need the car creating a drift in our driveway. And Patrick has a nice warn Sunfire to get into when he heads to work. My coworkers were joking that it must be a boy, because I'm nesting in the garage! My mom and I built the bike rack, the shelving unit, and laid the foam flooring. Power to women! How awesome it is to have a mom that isn't afarid to roll up her sleeves, break nails, and swing a hammer. She not only did all this, but also washed the bedding, scrubbed the floor, hung some art work, and much more. In case you didn't know....She's Superwoman!!! I can't thank her enough. I feel so much better now that we have PJ's room, the garage, the laundry room, and underneath the steps cleaned out. Now we can start shopping for baby stuff.
