Preparing for Baby PJ

I love online shopping. I was on first name basis with the UPS guy when I lived in my apartment. Since we've moved into our house, the delivery guy is sooo fast. I think they have up productivity by putting timers in their trucks. I forgot which company it was, but they have sensors in their seats and it times how long they are out of their driver's seat. And I believe it! Those delivery men and women, ring the doorbell and sprint back to their truck. It's almost like delivering May Day baskets. (I promise I won't chase anyone.)

Anyways! Amazon.com is one of my favorties. Those smiley boxes always brighten my day. It's like Christmas all over again. I hope it has been convenient that we registered there. They even wrap presents. They come in these big blue bags with a yellow ribbon. I've been trying really hard to not peak until the baby shower. Thank you in advanced....these boxes bring me smiles when they arrive and then again (someday)when I open them. The gift that keeps on giving!

Here's Patrick putting together the crib.

Next on the To Do list was putting together the chair.

PJ's room got off to a slow start, but it finally coming together.....slowly, coming together. Next on the To Do list is to wire the chandaler  and put the changing table together. Patrick hasn't been the only busy bee working on the nursery. My mom has been a busy bee. She is sewing not one, but two baby quilts! One pink one and one blue one. She has also painted the end table, the chandaler, and the chest of drawers in the closet. She's agreed to sew a cover for the ottoman using our wedding quilt material. (What the gray doesn't match?!) She also modified the lace bed skirt. This was a comforter set from my grandma that has been re-used for nursery purposes. A huge thank you to Mom (and dad, I think he has been drug into a few of the projects too) I'm excited to see what he created in his shop for the canopy thingy over the crib.
