Nesting and Resting

I would love to tell you I've been the one nesting and getting everything ready, but that's not true. Patrick has been nesting much more than me. It's almost like we have switched rolls. I still like helping out, but he has been quite demanding lately. The demanding I think I could get used to. He's been working short days, so he beats me home from work. Monday he was cooking and demanded I take a nap and he would wake me up when it was ready. Tuesday he was cleaning windows and the window seals (I didn't realize how dirty white window seals get). Wednesday he was deep cleaning the frig. The kind where all the shelves were laying on the counter. He refuses to let me help. I know it's out of pure love. Sometimes I feel like a little kid and just want to say "Me do it! Me do it!" For now, I've been doing the resting and Patrick has been nesting. We will see if that changes once it gets closer to the big day. Speaking of the big day....on Valentine's Day we predicted the what, when, and where of Baby PJ.

What do you predict?

Patrick also mentioned that I might have an obsession with mirrors. Just to keep his theory true, the baby's room wouldn't be complete without one. So here you have it!

Did you notice the breathable bumper pads? Yes, nothing in the crib is allowed any more. The mesh looking fabric is what has replaced crib pads. This is supposed to keep those little arms and legs inside the crib without causing a SIDs hazard.
