Last night (04/10/2011) was the first real bath. Since he lost his umbilical cord stump (04/05), he can now take a real bath in water rather than sponge baths! (PS. I am dating everything, because when it comes time to create his baby book/scrapbook I'm coming here to remember all the dates)
He loved his first bath. No tears at all. I was expecting it to be a lot worse. Mom and dad were sweating though. We brought in a space heater to keep the bathroom really warm and his little turtle helped keep him warm too!
Did you hear? Daddy bought me a boat! He always talks about fishing, but I don't think I"m going to get to go until I'm a little older. Mom and I went for a walk while daddy cleaned up the boat. It's pretty snazzy! It was Granpda Bryan's boat at one point, then he sold it to a guy in MN, then daddy bought it from him. Everyone's excited around this household!
I also love outdoors! Today was my first walk. I was a little fuzzy, then we started strolling and I was a happy camper. When we got home, I was sad that it was over and started grunting a little bit. I'm quite the grunter! Who wouldn't love this stroller ride. It's all terrain and we hit some pretty good potholds on the bike path, went through some puddles, and even a little mud!
