Basin Baby Shower

I work with really awesome people. The day I came back they brought in Bread Poets pecan log (yummy), orange juice, and flowers. It's was so nice to be surrounded by sympathetic moms that knew the first day back was hard. It wasn't as bad as everyone said it was going to be. I'm taking baby steps. I got into the groove of being back at work, but I would still see Mr. Beckham on my lunch hour. Now he goes part-time to two wonderful high school sisters for the summer and then the next step will be daycare. We found a daycare that we really like and have gotten great recommendations. One of the best reviews came from my co-worker's 3 year old who wanted to move in! : )

On Friday, Beckham went to Basin for his baby shower. It was so nice. Everyone is go thoughtful and generous. I loved maternity leave, but I missed my co-workers.

Nicole made Beckham this awesome, snugly microfleece blanket. How cool! Someday he'll be that big too! He's showing the big Beckham his muscles. : )

Tracey, another creative designer, made Beckham a reversible tie blanket with Dallas Cowboys on one side and Minnesota Vikings on the other. Depending on who he's watching football with, he can just flip it over! He also got custom ordered Bison Booties. The best little booties ever. They are so soft and keep his little toes warm. If you need a great gift, here's the website. I girl in Mandan makes them. http://www.etsy.com/shop/bisongirl. He's was spoiled rotten with bath toys, clothes, Vikings and Cowboys outfits, stacking blocks, and all kinds of fun stuff. A big thank you goes out to my thoughtful, creative and generous co-workers. I can't tell you how much it means to me and how great it is to have such a great "Basin family".
