A few weekend ago, we had a divorce party to go you. Yes, the invite states "You start a marriage with cake and champagne....let's finish it that way too!" Sometimes it's in everyone's best interest to go separate ways and that way the situation here. We weren't celebrating the divorce, we were celebrating a new beginning!
Cara and Greg were so kind to agree to babysit so we could attend the party. We got him ready with his special onesie on. Then zipped up his hoodie to keep the secret hidden. We dropped him off and mentioned that "Sometimes he gets warm, so feel free to take his hoodie off." (wink, wink) And they said...yes!
Good choice in choosing them Beckham! Good thing they are your future Godparents, because if I had to pay for babysitters that give you personal concerts with vocals and guitar....we would be broke! How much does John Mayer charge to babysit? Well, a huge thank you goes to Caa and Greg (1) for being so awesome and (2) not charging John Mayer babysitting fees. I was prepared. I knew they wouldn't accept cash, but I tried. Then I wipped out my plan B.....a Target gift card. Cara loves Target almost as much as I do. I thought I could get her in her weak point and she would accept the card, but nope! But all joking aside, we genuinely appreciate all they do for us and are so lucky to have such great family so close.
And now for Beckham's other offer. Drumroll...........
Who would have guessed?! We couldn't have imagine any better couple. DA and DU can you guess who is who? Well she's is his Double Auntie and he is the Double Uncle! Ok, so I just made that up as I was typing. Sorry. There's something about sisterly love that never goes away! My brain functions a little bit differently when talking about that sisterfriend of mine. Love you guys!
