No Guilt Splurging!

The family approves! Mom, dad, sister, and grandma all like this house better than the last one we almost bought. Oooudah! Good thing it didn't work out. If you were following the wedding website, you remember me saying that I can't wait for the day that I look back and say "Now I see why it didn't work out." This past weekend I have reached that point. I knew it would come. It was just a very discouraging time. Like Pat and I always say...we don't live a fairytale, but we have fairytale moments. We're not here to fool you or ourselves. We live a very real world, un-perfect lives. That's what keeps it fun! I can't say that either of us have had "tough" lives. We have been very blessed through the years.
A good thing about buying versus building is that you can have a few splurges that are guilt free, because it wasn't your decision. This is the whirpool in the master bath. Do I hear spa night? I love to put on instrumental music on, light candles, and drink wine. It's one of my favortie things to do here at the apartment. My little apartment tub isn't looking as good as it once did. I think I could get use to this one! When I had a roomate we would have pedicure night where we would sit on the edge and soak our feet, then exfoliate them, and finish off by painting them. Ohh...those memories are wonderful! During hunting seasons, we'll get plenty of girls' nights for pedicures!
