A very important "C"

When I was Jennifer Swanson, I always used Jennifer C. Swanson. I did this because there is another Jennifer Swanson in the Valley City area with some credit issues that I didn't want to be associated with. When I changed to Jennifer Holen, I thought about dropping the C. It came about at work. They asked if I wanted my name plate to say Jennifer Holen or Jennifer C. Holen. I did my research. There is another Jennifer Holen in the Minot/Upham area. We have all made mistakes in life, but our criminal records are quite different. I prefer to keep a clean criminal record. Yesterday I went to the capitol to change the title of the Sunfire from my dad's name to my name. The lady looked at me and said...umm....did you used to live in Minot? Without hesitation, I said, "No, that's not me!" How one simple letter can mean so much!
