This week we learned that Patrick has beauty queen taste (I'm glad he picked me instead)! We were watching Miss USA this past weekend. The jeweler that designed the Miss USA's crown also designed my ring and his too!
I thought it was kind of cool. He did too. (He was so proud, he even called his mom during the competition to let her know that the ring he picked out for me was a good one. hehe) That's adorable. It's amazing at how many people comment on Pat's ring when we are out in public. He gets more attention than I do! Positive attention, at least. That's ok, I'm ok with the lady at Old Navy asking if it's real, and the Starbucks drive-through lady complaining that she's blinded.
I'm wrapping it up with a "Thumbs Up" to Pat. You have excellent style! (you're even getting pretty good at picking out clothes for me.)
Since it's fun factsss and not one fun fact. Here are the others. We have two kitchen gadgets that everyone should know about. First, the pineapple corer. Love that thing! Now that it's summery, it's getting a lot of use. The other one is the corn on the cob stripper. Pat doesn't like biting into the cob, so he uses the handy-dandy stripper! If you know anyone that cuts the corn off the cob before eating it, you must buy them one! It was a great investment....the Holen household is back in action grilling cobs of corn.
